  Traverlers ! If you are doing the long hall and you find your self near dark ! Then stop . Marla is very 70's with the rooms but are clean and airconditioned. Nice swimming pool, great little pub with cold beer, meals are pretty good for in the middle of nowhere ! Powered sites and lots of room for big motor homes, got any type of fuel you need and all the grocery top up and food shopping you need. Police, ambulance, and a post office. Roads are very good both ways .

  Good friendly spot to stop for fuel and food on the way or from alice springs shame about the price of fuel but it is the niddle of no where

  Icing on this bitter cake was request from a very unpleasant guy to pay ten bucks as a deposit for a key, but there is no information in "reception" about any deposit and of course you don't get any receipt that they kept your cash. I wonder how many people leave the key in the room if they leave early in the morning.... Next time I'm around I'll rather sleep in my car than here.

  Fuel is the only good thing about this roadhouse, even then the pumps and driveway are filthy and covered in fuel. We ordered lunch and when one of the meals came out wrong the charming lady serving us told me the mistake wasn't theirs and walked off in a huff. Of all the places we've stopped this is the worst, avoid if possible.

  Terrible, the worst overnight stay on our 8000 km journey through outback. Paid for a room with double bed, got room with three singles, broken TV remote, dripping shower head, holes in the blankets and scratching noise on the ceiling that kept us awake the whole night.
